There's this rather odd radio station that lurks around 104 MHz on the Delhi FM airwaves. 104.8 I think.
All's well at night. There's no pesky anchor doing more talk than playing music, there are no ads at all. And thankfully it doesnt have that mushy kind of enveloping feel you get when you hear FM late at night when the love lorn seem to come out in full numbers on radio stations.
But come morning things change dramatically. I have this radio alarm that sleeps automatically at night - they played some fairly nice music at night covering U2, GNR, Bon Jovi, Bryan Adams.....the works, basically. This radio alarm automatically switches on in the morning - that's when things begin to go grossly wrong.
You find hundreds of women mewing around the place. They actually mew - there's no music at all. They only make these mewing noises and talk utter gibberish.
Whatever you do, don't set this as your wake up alarm....too feline a start to any day.

Well... interestingly i had met one of the marketing guys of that radio station somewhere sometime. Apparently the guy (and i am guessing, the rest of the ppl at this channel too) were blind to the fact that people tune into radio for MUSIC , and chat shows just don't go well with Radio as a medium.
Anyway i just removed the channel (set in default tuning) from my car radio and made my peace with it.
